Tear Trough Fillers
Restore brightness and reduce under-eye shadows with precision dermal filler treatment

Understanding Under-Eye Ageing
The delicate area under the eyes is often one of the first places to show signs of ageing. Volume loss, thinning skin, and changes in the mid-face can create hollows, dark shadows, and a tired appearance, even when you feel well-rested.
Tear trough filler is a specialised treatment that uses carefully placed hyaluronic acid dermal filler to restore subtle volume beneath the eyes. By filling and smoothing the hollow, light is reflected more evenly, reducing shadows and creating a fresher, more youthful look.
Benefits of Tear Trough Filler
Smooths the transition between the lower eyelid and the cheek
Restores a brighter, less tired appearance
Softens under-eye hollows and dark shadows

Visible enhancement straight after treatment
This treatment requires advanced expertise due to the delicate anatomy of the under-eye area. At Honey Aesthetics, only premium dermal fillers specifically designed for tear trough correction are used, ensuring both safety and natural results.
The procedure typically takes 30–40 minutes, with results visible immediately and continuing to improve as the filler integrates with the tissue. Results usually last around 12 months, though this varies between individuals.

⚕ As with all treatments, a full consultation with myself as prescriber is required to assess your suitability, as not everyone is a candidate for tear trough filler. In some cases, alternative treatments such as mid-face rejuvenation may be more appropriate
Tear trough filler is a non-surgical treatment using hyaluronic acid dermal filler to restore subtle volume under the eyes. This reduces hollows and shadows, creating a brighter, more refreshed appearance.
What is tear trough filler?
FAQ's
Most clients can return to normal activities straight after treatment. Some swelling or mild bruising may occur but usually settles within a few days.
Is there any downtime?
Results are usually visible immediately, although the final effect is best seen after around 2 weeks, once the filler has fully settled and any swelling has resolved.
When will I see results?
When performed by an experienced medical professional, tear trough filler is a safe procedure. However, as the under-eye area is highly delicate, it requires advanced skill and knowledge of anatomy. All potential risks and side effects will be fully discussed during your consultation.
Is it safe?
Results typically last around 12 months, although this can vary depending on individual factors such as skin quality, lifestyle, and metabolism.
How long do results last?
Not everyone is suitable for this treatment. The best candidates are those with hollowing beneath the eyes rather than puffiness or significant skin laxity. During your consultation, I will assess whether tear trough filler or an alternative approach (such as mid-face rejuvenation) is most appropriate.
Am I suitable for tear trough filler?
The under-eye area is delicate, but the procedure is usually very well tolerated. A prescription strength numbing cream is applied before treatment, and most premium dermal fillers also contain lidocaine for added comfort.
